The average private event menu runs about $50/person not including tax, gratuity, and alcoholic beverages.
Atlantica provides the perfect spot for the intimate wedding reception or rehearsal dinner. Or maybe you'd like to take your business group off-site for a planning and brainstorming session. Whatever your needs, let Atlantica assist in making your event a success.
Private parties are booked anytime year-round except July and August. Events around major holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.) are discouraged, and are booked at the discretion of the owner/operators.
The upstairs dining room at Atlantica is private and can accomodate up to 40 people. Groups of 10 or less are not considered private. Skylights and floor to ceiling deck doors allow natural light and good views of the bay. This space includes a small deck for informal gathering and cocktails, but is not used for seating. Ceiling fans and two window unit air-conditioners provide summer climate control, and the area is heated in the winter.
Rental of the entire restaurant is possible and can accommodate approximately 100 plus/minus people. Please contact us regarding associated charges.

In respect for the quality of food served at Atlantica, a set menu offers the best experience. Once you've made the reservation a current menu will be sent to you. To compose your menu, select 2 appetizers and 2-3 entree selections. A printed menu based on your selections will be presented to each guest. The Atlantica dessert tray is generally presented to the guests unless the event is a wedding reception. Chef Ken and staff can work with you to accommodate dietary restrictions of your guests.
The Atlantica is a full service restaurant. We can provide you with wine and beer service only or a complete bar featuring premium pour liquors. Wines & beers must be pre-selected in order to insure availability. Charges are by consumption. Your service choice can be 'open bar' (you pay for everything) or 'cash bar' (you pay for beer or wine, your guests pay for liquor). Your wine and beer selections will be from the current list.
These events are booked similar to dinner functions. A set menu is created from the current lunch menu, and is printed for each guest. The minimum food & non-alcoholic beverage charge at lunch is $15 and is exclusive of 20% gratuity and 7% Maine tax.
This service can be structured to your specific needs. All day events including early AM continental breakfast, mid-morning breakouts, lunch, & afternoon breakouts are available. If needed, dinner could be arranged. Please call if you require this service.
Reserved parties must cancel 5 days prior to the event date for a deposit refund. The deposit is not refunded if the party is not cancelled in writing by the 5-day period. Receipt of your deposit serves as your reservation confirmation.

Delicious dinner with flawless service for 80!

We held a wedding rehearsal dinner for 80 people at Atlantica in June. The chef/owners, Ken and Del, were great. Ken, the chef, understood our concept—it was a marriage of southern and northern cuisines-and executed it deliciously. Del, the restaurant manager, worked with us to make the restaurant accessible for that large a party, helped make the tables look great, and oversaw the service which was seamless. We couldn't have been happier with the evening. It was a terrific beginning to our wedding weekend.
